Exhibition Description
13 lamps designed by the University of Nottingham Ningbo China’s (UNNC) Product Design and Manufacture (PDM) students were put on exhibition at Wang Yangming’s former residence in Yuyao. In order to commemorate the 550th anniversary of Wang Yangming’s birth, UNNC collaborated with Wang Yangming’s former residence to create a number of lamp designs inspired by Wang Yangming’s philosophy.

Design Description
Turn to light, light to learn. LURN is a portable lamp designed to enhance the fun of children's visit, integrating Wang Yangming's children's education concept of learning through fun and conforming to nature. It also has the function of tour instructions, activity teaching aid and souvenir. Through modular lighting changes to indicate the progress of the tour. By twisting and magnetic splicing, the shape of the lamp can be changed freely. Through gravity induction, the placement angle is combined with lighting changes.
